I Thought This Was Worth Sharing:
Stories and Some Other Stuff About Love and Some Other Stuff

When it comes to love and dating, things can get a little euphoric. Or neurotic. Sometimes funny. Occasionally completely devastating. And we all have our ways of working through it. In Scott Muska’s case, he turns to writing—even if it means oversharing. In his first collection, he ruminates on the spectrum of emotions and occurrences that come with navigating relationships, intimacy and, conversely, feeling alone as you try to find what you’re looking for.

"Scott is as affecting and as funny a writer as you’ll find.  This book exemplifies why. His essays are at once erudite and outrageous, his short stories raucous and oh-wait-he’s-serious real. His poetry is unnervingly honest. Come for the laughs, the love, the confessionals. Stay for a better understanding of the high wire act of being alive."
—Dan Moore, contributor at The Ringer and former editor of PS I Love You

“Scott Muska brings such a charismatic, fresh, and unique voice to his writing that it just pops off the page. The way he perfectly crafts self-deprecation with positivity, chaos with quick wit, and trauma with humor makes for one of the most charming slow burns out there. For those in, wishing to be in, and never having been in a relationship. This one’s for the lovers, lost souls, and the one’s who got away.”
—Zach Nading, editor at eBaum’s World

"Scott Muska's 'I Thought This Was Worth Sharing' is a gut-punch complete with writing to make you laugh, cry, and connect on a level you will probably think you shouldn't. He has an uncanny way of luring the reader in with his spicy sense of hilarity and flawless gift of gab. There is so much to unpack in his debut work of art, and I am certain I will find something new with every read. I highly recommend it, and I assure you, disappointment will not be in your near future."
—Tre L. Loadholt, former editor and writer of PS I Love You and current editor in chief at soliloque

"If you're looking for a nice beach read - and are into funny, irreverent, sometimes too-close-to-home writing that is mostly based on real life stories...well, this would be a great book to grab."
—Scott Gilbert, advertising account guy Scott forced to read the book

”You are random and I believe you could have a future in stand-up comedy if not for your anxiety. Reading and enjoying!”
—Mary Ann Muska, hospice nurse and also Scott’s Mom

Many of These Could Have Just Been Tweets:
Poems by Scott Muska

Scott Muska was already in a weird place when the pandemic hit—and then of course things just got weirder. He had a lot of time on his hands, and some things to work through, so he started writing at least one short poem a day. Many of These Could Have Just Been Tweets is a collection of some of his favorites that address love, dating, heartbreak, nostalgia, mental health and living in a world where you can sometimes use a salve from the feeling of being alone. Some of them might even be kind of funny. Because if you're not having some fun with it, what even is the point?
